Review: Lip Bar Lipsticks

I recently purchased two Lip Bar lipsticks and it was my first time trying it. I had heard a little about the product here and there, but nothing too extravagant. What really caught my attention and actually made me want to purchase the lipsticks was the fact that they're 100% organic! 

Their official website states: "Handcrafted with a unique blend of natural ingredients such as Vitamin E, shea butter and avocado oil. The Lip Bar
lipsticks are designed to moisturise, soften and amplify lips all the while setting you apart with intoxicatingly bold, kick-ass colours". 

Just the fact that such natural ingredients are used in a lip product really made me want to do some deeper research. This definitely outdoes MAC Lipsticks in a huge way! I was really impressed by this because nothing annoys me more than when my lips get chapped while I have lipstick on! It begins to look cracky and dry - and no one wants that, of course! (Especially in the cold winter months when lips are extra sensitive to getting chapped)

I browsed through different colours on their official website, and I came across many bold shades like bright purple, blue, teal, and yellow. I was really tempted to try one of the bolder colours but I decided to stick with the more general tones. The two colours I purchased are - Vesper, which is a very pretty bright pink; and Cosmo, which is the perfect "night out" red. 

The packaging also earns Lip Bar some decent points! One thing that I always look for when purchasing a product is the packaging - and this is by far the best lipstick packaging I have seen. It absolutely adds to the "fearless" and "kick-ass" vibe that Lip Bar is attempting to accomplish. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone and I am undoubtedly going to increase my Lip Bar lipstick collection!
